Originally from the United States, William (Bill) Lines migrated to NZ from Western Australia with his young family in 2013 and now lives on the beautiful Northland coast. Bill is an environmental geologist with over 24 years’ experience in contaminated site investigation and remediation. Prior to settling down in Northland Bill managed contaminated site consulting groups for several large consulting companies in Western Australia. His areas of expertise include downstream and upstream petroleum site remediation, major industrial site investigation, and environmental due diligence. In his spare time Bill likes to catch a few waves close to home and enjoy the local beaches with his family.

Dr. Dave Bull is a director of HAIL Environmental and holds Certified Environmental Practitioner – Site Contamination specialist certification. He has over 20 years of professional experience, including 15 years in contaminated land consulting in New Zealand and England, and is well known as a technical reviewer and speaker on contaminated land matters. Dave is New Zealand’s leading authority on arsenic contamination, and has unhealthy interests in the distribution, speciation, bioavailability and sustainable management of heavy metals generally. His main practice areas are quantitative risk assessment and contaminated land management. Outside of his day job, Dave is a land developer, an aspiring game designer, a keen tramper and is trying to enjoy judo. He is married to a criminologist and they have three small criminals.

Kylie Eckersley

Kylie Eckersley is based in Auckland and has over 14 years’ experience in contaminated site investigation and management. Kylie has lived in Auckland for the last 12 years during which she has worked on a wide variety of contaminated site investigation, remediation, and environmental due diligence projects. Kylie has also assisted regulatory agencies in the Auckland region with consent processing and third party peer review of contaminated site projects. She is very familiar with contaminated land rules and policy statements and can use this knowledge to benefit clients within the region. Kylie also recently achieved her Certified Environmental Practitioner – Contaminated Land status. Outside of her consulting career Kylie enjoys keeping active and kicking footballs around with her partner and two young sons.

Jimmy Huang has nine years' experience in contaminated land following a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Canterbury University. He is a fluent speaker of both Cantonese and Mandarin. Jimmy lives in Auckland with his wife Tian and two exceedingly cute kids, Joyce (5) and Rocco (1). A keen outdoorsman, he loves to fish and has been known to spend holidays as a tramping guide.

Reagan Knapp has over ten years’ experience in the environmental field in New Zealand and the USA. She specialises in the co-ordination and management of environmental site assessments relating to the discharge of contaminants to land and groundwater. She is skilled in providing advice to clients for contaminated sites locally in Canterbury, nationally in New Zealand and within the USA. Her experience includes groundwater and land investigations, remediation of contaminated sites, project management, design and implementation of diverse remediation technologies, mixed-media sampling and logging, drilling oversight, due-diligence, compliance, and a broad spectrum of other environmental and large-scale demolition project experience. Outside of work Reagan and her partner are kept busy chasing their 1 year old daughter Arwyn around their farm on Banks Peninsula.
